*As you approach a well-dressed dwarf from behind, his back stifEL-DB.comfens noticeably.* I told you I did not have sex with that woman!

WTF!
I'm so sorry, traveler. I thought you were that pesky reporter, Beth Ann. She's heard some vile rumor about me and my lovely assistant. She's been through enough without adding this on top of it all. Besides, I've known her for a very long time and believe me when I tell you this, she is not my type.

Beautiful women aren't your type?
Yes they are, but not this one. Now, you've got to keep this just between you and me and these walls. Do you promise? *You nod your head.* Good. I mentioned that I've known her for a very long time. I will tell you this, but if it ever comes back to me through another means, I will strongly deny it. Anyway, I've known her since she was a little boy. A sad little boy who was different from the rest. Ever since he

changed, he has blossomed into a beautiful woman. Don't ask me how. She has been very secretive about that. At first I didn't even recognize her, but eventually I put the pieces together, but by then she'd proven herself to be indispensable. Now that's all I'll say about her.

So who are you?
My name is Vaeamo. I'm with the Streamsters, a group of politically active Potioners. We're trying to present ourselves as a cost-effective healthcare provider option to Megera who is putting together King Gondric's healthcare initiative.

Streamsters is an odd name.
Not for someone who makes potions religiously. If you were to visit our temple in Morcraven Marsh and speak with the priests there, you would learn something about The Order of the Stream.

The Order of the Stream?
The Order of the Stream holds a mighty destiny. Talk to the temple priests to learn more. Kahlen is very knowledgeable about the topic.

Megera
She's the king's cousin, his treasurer, and his chief counsel. I'm in this area mainly tEL-DB.como meet with her, or try to. She's very busy and it's difficult to get some of her time.

King Gondric
It's his dream for the dwarves and gnomes who are his subjects to be able to have access to free healthcare. Now I know what you're thinking. 'How can healthcare possibly be free?' And you're right to ask it. The answer is that healthcare is never free. Someone somewhere is paying for it. King Gondric wants to be that source. No wonder he is so well loved by his subjects.

How?
He has proposed increasing the output from the gold mines in order to pay for healthcare. Now that's where I come in. I have been trying to get Megera to see that while the Magicians under Circe are as capable of providing the healthcare, it is the potions the Streamsters can provide that are more cost effective.

How do you figure that?
Think about it. I've know lots of magicians because I sell them Spirit Restoration potions for when they're too impatient to recover their mana over time. So they're going to rely on us anyway. But, they can't do it alone. They need the Alchemists ,under Ingrid, for the essences they need to remotely heal their patients. To top it off, they'll need the resources needed to create the essences. By

utilizing potions to heal any injured dwarves or gnomes, far fewer people are needed to create them. In addition, the potion maker doesn't have to be present to provide the healthcare. The patient simply needs to drink one of many concoctions in order to feel better.

What about the vials?
Typically I would buy them from Nestor or Harvey, but Nestor is against the whole idea and Harvey is kind of expensive. I have another source where I can buy them in bulk and ship them back here from Melinis, which makes my potions look more and more attractive.

Which concoctions?
It depends on how extensive the injury is. For a scratch or bruise, a Minor Healing potion would be adequate. For broken bones, a Body Restoration potion or two would work just fine. For more serious injuries, a potion of Great Healing would be in order.

Don't you need wine for those?
Yes, but I have a great relationship with Vesine and Latis who run thEL-DB.come winery in Morcraven Marsh. I'm able to buy wine from them in bulk.

What about binding stones?
For the Great Healing potions? Those can also be made accidentally while mixing Body Restoration potions. Since we'll be making so many of them, our Great Healing potions supply will grow naturally.

I'm impressed.
Thank you. Now if only Megera would hear of your support, perhaps she would extend her support my way. If you see her, would you please express your opinion in my favor?

Sure
I can't thank you enough. Perhaps one day I can repay you.

Goodbye
Take care and remember, the Streamsters are the people to support on this!
